Welcome to J.D. Williams Higher Secondary School
Lt. Rev. John David Williams
John David Williams Higher Secondary School (Formerly known as JD Williams English School) is an educational project of Boro Baptist Church Association (BBCA). It is a private Christian English medium co-educational school, established on 2nd May 1984 and named in honour of a former General Secretary of Australian Baptist Missonary Society (now GIA) Lt. Rev. J.D. Williams who had a deep love for the Boro people and sincerely desired to provide many opportunities, so as to enable them to stand on their own feet. Today, the school is a testimony and a fullfillment of that dream. The school is situated at Tukrajhar Mission Compound and is endowed with natural beauty and farmland. It is 24.7 km away North of Bongaigaon Town, Assam and well connected by regular bus services.

In pursuance of the school motto “LIGHT THE LIGHT” the institute endeavors to impart a total programme of education, including Christian education, for all round development of the whole person and preparation of responsible citizens of the society and future leaders.
